Promoting Best Practices in Aging Conference
A statewide training and networking opportunity for Geriatric Clinicians (Physicians, nurses, pharmacists), educators of healthcare providers, managers and healthcare system administrators, practice leaders, patient safety, risk management, and quality improvement professionals, direct services professionals, leaders in health policy and government, academic staff and researchers, older adults, families, and others committed to making healthcare safer.
The 8th Annual Promoting Best Practices in Aging Conference scheduled for June 4-5, 2010 has been cancelled. The conference planning committee regrets any inconvenience caused by this cancellation, but thank you for understanding. AKGEC will use this year as an opportunity to revamp and develop a new distance delivered conference format to better meet the geriatric training needs indicated in our recent health professional training needs assessment. We hope to come back in 2011 with an even better learning experience.
